The fashion play(ed)ground! finally...

Finally i found some free time to post all these beautiful people and images from the multidimensional and multistaged  Fashion Playground, which took place last Thursday at 6 D.O.G.S!
For its first birthday, the very talented and style-forward Stylewatch team made everything possible for the fashionistas and style lovers, who gave their intense presence, to be comfortable, active and anti-bored!
Congratulations guys for the absolutely great result!! We had such a good time!
The highlights, of course, were many... but i'll try to pass the exact creative atmosphere that my friends and myself sensed! So, here we go.. enjoy some of the playground's strong fashion moments. Don't be discouraged, i just had to take some of the photos from the blackberry, due to camera battery exhaustion!!!

First of all, i was impressed to finally meet the official make up artist of Maybelline Νew York, the superficial artist Grigoris Pirpilis! I am totally convinced that his hands are made of golden glitter! He has the ability to make any face shine and shine and shine...meaning being so beautiful. So, here he is, glad to having taken a closer look to his creations:

Arriving at 6 D.O.G.S, i was soooo pleased to be welcomed by my friend Andreas, who is fashion editor at Stylewatch. He just made my day!! Drowned in the styling interventions of the night for the Levi's fans, who were being dressed with Levi's new collection and photographed by Stylewatch's professional team, he just came up in the surface for a moment, and then i lost him again!!! I didn't even tell him a decent goodbye at the end of the night :-) Andreas, are you still there??

And now, let's take a walk to the playful ground, which was so fun that i can only describe it that way: 'if it was laughter, it would be hilarious'!

And look what a cute(st) person i've found!!! This beautiful girl with her communication tool-'gadgets', was spreading fashion messages all around! Her name Amarilis! and turned out to be member of the Stylewatch team.. isn't she adorable??

And of course, i couldn't miss the bloggers' creative table! Many talented greek fashionistas and bloggers were making their own t-shirts, with old clothes and materials, giving precious advice and making us admire their amazing work. Of course my pics aren't totally representative, but believe me, they rocked!

Except for all these style acts, what i liked most was the funky mood hunging everywhere..!!!

(When i actually took this photo, the girls who were serving these delicious sweets from Fresh Stores, came to me and gave me as a gift a whole pack with endless sweets, which are still in my fridge (ok... the half of them are still there...) hehe, sweet night after all!!!

Fuchsia on Marc Jacobs - who says no?

Almost a year since the day i was fascinated by these fuchsia Marc Jacobs shoes, which were actually shouting from the Marc Jacobs window 'Take me home, M.J. go home'!
The best part of them is the 'little dutch girl's & pointe ballet style' in the front... But in the second sight, i'd say that the blue little heels come first! Did i say they are soooo comfortable???

Oh God... and the accessories great issue again....

You know what??? I don't care!! Cause there will be brilliant stylists tomorrow at 6 D.O.G.S and i'll leave the choice on them!!! (and no, i won't go naked!)

Perfume Inspiration

Sometimes, you just need the right perfume to feel beautiful... Today, i certainly had one of these moments... The perfume i'm addicted to is Flowerbomb by Victor&Rolf, cause it brings to your mind and senses an idea of something mysterious, sexy, underground, but innocent and girly in the same time... I've always been a vanilla-flavored person, obsessed with these kind of fragrances (you know... Lolita Lempicka, Angel by Thierry Mugler, Burberry classic, Creme bouquet by Stila, Hypnotic Poison by Dior etc...), but in a moment of designing inspiration (while i was studying fashion design in Paris), i realized that the perfume (the one for you) is not only the good smell....it's something else... So, i decided to change my usual choices! For me, it was the inspiration that the Flowerbomb's advert gave me... Check out what this image made me think and create...

(In the left side of my design notebook, you can see sources of inspiration for colors, concepts, materials etc..., and in the right side the manual design preview... And who knows, someday i might see these dresses worn, and not only on my notebook pages....!!!)

Just a collar.. can it make you victorian?

British prestige and prosperity...it's like a whole Empire and a long historic era, the one of the Victorian years, is reflected to little details that have been actually left stranded over the years...
The first time i had to positively notice this forgotten Victorian style was when i first visited some small cities of England, and London came second.. And i have to say that i was fully impressed, mostly by the houses with the pleated windows. Fashion came second, as well.
I don't know if Lakis Gavalas (one of the best Greek designers) had similar thoughts when he created the bolero jacket i'm wearing, or he just went for it spontaneously. One way or another, the thing is that this piece can easily transform your image accordingly. Not having the time to play around with clothes and accessories right now, ending up to be a total clown, i'm just posting this beautiful jacket with a pair of miss sixty jeans, light rose pink lips, purple all star converse and my purple- of course- nails.
