madwalk fever - Konstantinos Melis by Laskos

madwalk is on the way and i am so happy to be its blogging partner for fav Haute Couture brand Konstantinos Melis by Laskos. In this post, i am presenting you the preparation fever of this remarkably talented duo, Konstantinos and Yannis. Yannis Laskos has designed a collection exclusively for the Madwalk show, called "Secret Box". And actually, we are talking about a true existing box from his sweet childhood. Since Yannis was a little kid, he used to design dresses for the dolls. His muses seemed to be the  adorable famous pin and pon dolls. And that gives him extra points for an innovative thoughtful fashion encoding. So, this collection is all about the way he turned his childhood dress creations into real haute couture pieces of today. A great designer, that also happens to be sweet and kind - so rare to find nowadays. Loved them, loved their showroom, their gentle energy and their great hard working team. Romeo and Juliet backstage

Walking the Opera's corridors is blessing. Last week, the famous ballet Romeo and Juliet was on stage by the National Opera of Greece and i was so lucky to be backstage. The preparations of this kind of performances are always magical. Photos are never enough to feel the vibe. Amazing Make Up by INGLOT and breathtaking costumes by Celia Kritharioti.

chatterbox outfit

When there's floral, lace, leather and embellishments in one and only outfit, then i am chatterboxing for spring. The shoes are my most fav piece in my closet and they bring the signature of Yves Saint Laurent. This skirt is really worth mentioning cause of its leather lazer cut and yes, believe it or not, it's found in zara treasuring hangers. Amazing bag by ippolito. Head piece, of course by Accessorize.

One of the designers that definitely stood out during the Fashion Room Service by Ozon mag.
For the new collection, Mimika used leather and stones to create impressive pieces with royal character. Soon closer to us with a new sales point at the southern spot of Athens, Glyfada. Cannot wait.

dyrberg kern

I remember myself as a high school student wearing my fav pendant and never let it away from my neck. I had carefully bought it from a local store in my old neighborhood and it was my first dyrberg kern pendant. Since then, this brand owns a special place in my jewelry box.
Some days ago, i was invited to see the new collection and i was so happy to see that there is a certain trademark in this brand, which really reminded me the love of this very first pendant. Take a close look of our moments of the press event. Oh and at the last picture, the charming Beck Sonder Gaard famous purses stole my eyes.

spring opening

A meaningful month.
In latin, Aprilis means opening. The Greek word for spring is "anixi", which also means to open.
April is the opening of spring. And if we go roman and a bit further, April was sacred to the Goddess Venus and the name Aphrodite comes from Aphrilis. There you go. Are you now convinced that spring has come today?
It seems that April is all about flowers, light coating and tights-free legs.
There is a really thin line between spring and early summer weathershots these days in Greece. And those lines can be translated in light coating movements or cotton jumpers, or both. Flowers can always travel your outfit not far from the woods, while booties bring you back to the streets. Have a wonderful April everyone!
